Our 2024 AGM is ccoming up on April 14, 2024 at the Sple’tk Mi’kmaq Language Center, 6 High Street, Grand Falls-Windsor

This two year project has helped identify camps and other sites that a small group of Beothuk people took in search of basic sustenance

The Board of Beothuk Insitute explored some of the sites where the Beothuk lived and to see where many had been killed

Archaeologist Laurie McClean and his team searches for one of the places where Shanawdithit had camped in 1823.

The Beothuk Institute Inc. will be holding its AGM on May 28, 2023 at the Beothuk Interpretation Centre in Boyd’s Cove
